I have already told you that I see a crapton of pre-production BMWs. This time it was this Active Tourer thing with some interesting decals.
It's a little hard to read, but it has the same "Hybrid Test Vehicle" stickers as the i8 pre-production car I got to drive a few months ago. It also had the emergency shut-off button for some system or other that the i8 had. My friend at BMW R&D said that they have like ten of these on the dash early in the development.
Why they put the flowery camo on it is beyond me. Everybody and their grandma knows what this thing looks like.
Another interesting detail is the sticker on the back that looks like a speed limit sign. They are used to warn other motorists that this vehicle isn't capable of going faster than that.
I also didn't hear any engine noises. My best guess is that they are messing around with the drivetrain from the i3 in this body shell. Anyone know more about this?

If BMW can build a million of these to pay for the R&D to make the next M-car that much better....then hellz to the yeah.
